Nasce nei Paesi Bassi nel 1951.
Di origine indonesiana-olandese, è artista visiva, poetessa e direttrice di “Costruct art”. Lavora come onsulente in arte e design per ditte, enti pubblici e privati. Dal 1988 è docente di arte all’Accademia di BBAA di Tilburg, dal 1998 è anche free-lance al H.K.U. di Utrecht nei Paesi Bassi. Dal ’79 la sua produzione artistica è visibile in mostre negli USA , in Italia, Francia, Germania, Paesi Bassi, Belgio, Asia, Bulgaria e Moldavia. E’presente in collezioni d’arte pubbliche e private. Ha lavorato come artista presso la facoltà di O.S.U. a Columbus in Ohio (USA 1991),in Bulgaria nel 2002 per l’Accademia di BBAA di Sofia. Ha tenuto laboratori a Yogyakarta (Indonesia,1994) e a Torino per l’Accademia Albertina di BBAA nel 2002.
La produzione artistica di Joyce Bloem comprende l’arte nello spazio pubblico, la scultura, le videoinstallazioni, la poesia e la pittura.

She was born in The Netherlands in 1951.

Of Indonesian-Dutch stock, she is a visual artist, poet and editor of “Construct art”. She works as an art and design consultant for private and public firms and clients.
Since 1988 she has been teaching art at the Fine Arts Academy of Tilburg, since 1998 she has been also free-lance teacher at H.K.U. in Utrecht in The Netherlands.
Her artistic production has been on show in the USA, in Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Asia, Bulgaria and Moldova, both in private and in public collections since ’79
She worked as an artist in the O.S.U. Faculty in Columbus – Ohio (USA 1991) and in Bulgaria for the Fine Arts Academy in Sofia (2002).
She held workshops in Djakarta (Indonesia 1994) and in Turin for the Fine Arts Albertina Academy (2002).
Joyce Bloem’s artistic production includes public space art, sculpture, video installations, poetry and painting.
