Laura Pintus LAPIS, Doctor, Painter, Mail Artist, Master Art Therapy in training, began painting with watercolors and tempera as a child and then independently rediscovered painting as an adult by studying the History of Art and the main pictorial techniques.

“I have always been in love with Monet and the French Impressionists, fascinated by the Cubist world of Picasso, but also by the informality of Burri and Fontana, I am enraptured by the American Expressionist abstraction of De Kooning to which I look as a representative key to my emotions that I always seek to represent in paintings..” His trip to NY was decisive for contaminating his artistic approach with elements of Pop and Street-Art.

For Laura Pintus Art is a way to talk about oneself and represent one’s emotions, which she implements mainly through the use of colour, which for her is “movement-expression-music”, and of which “only those who will be able to open one’s ears will be able to hear its song”.

Biografia

Laura Pintus in Arte LAPIS, Medico, Pittrice, MailArtista, Master Arteterapia in formazione, inizia a dipingere con acquerelli e tempere da bambina per poi riscoprire autonomamente la pittura in età adulta studiando la Storia dell’Arte e le principali tecniche pittoriche.

“Nei suoi lavori prevale la pittura astratta eppure il suo messaggio artistico trasmette un messaggio rassicurante che ha il dono di far sognare tutti ..” “la produzione di questa giovane artista esprime una innata creatività stupisce in ogni suo lavoro, è come se chiudesse gli occhi nel dipingere e lasciasse liberi i colori che riempiono le tele con tocchi lievi eppure decisi di matite o pastelli, acquarelli, inchiostro..l’impatto visivo è davvero intrigante”(T.Oppes, 2021).

Un suo viaggio a NY è stato poi dirimente per contaminare il suo approccio artistico con elementi della Pop e della Street-Art.”Sento di ricevere influenze da tutto ciò che mi circonda, e lo porto nel mio mondo fantastico immaginario”.

Per Laura Pintus l’Arte è un modo per parlare di se stessi e rappresentare le proprie emozioni, che attua principalmente attraverso l’uso del colore, che per lei è  “movimento-espressione-musica”,  e del quale “solo chi saprà aprire le proprie orecchie potrà sentirne il canto”.

Dal 2022 è attiva nella Mail Art, sia come MailArtista individuale che in collaborazione con Artisti Internazionali.

Ha inoltre creato e gestisce tutt’ora l’archivio “Mail Art Sardinia”, nell ambito del quale promuove Call ed eventi espositivi Internazionali sia virtuali che in presenza.
