Olhar o vento (Looking @ the Wind) is the beginning of a cycle of videoart curated by Beatriz Albuquerque. These videos are influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic and created during global confinement in 2020. The Window Museum opens on the 6th of November, 2020 with the videos of the Greek writer and artist, Demosthenes Agrafiotis. On December 4, 2020, the New Yorker artist Nina Sobell will show her videoart at the Window Museum.

Window Museum was created in 2015, and was based originally in Harlem, New York City. Window Museum is an alternative space and archive, that occupies commercial empty shops where the public and passersby are invited to observe art through a window and enter to access an archive of multimedia art, performance, mailart and games. In 2020, when the World Health Organization announced that the COVID-19 outbreak could be characterized as a pandemic, Window Museum moved to Porto, Portugal. In these uncertain times, Window Museum is designed to maintain our health and security during this time of pandemic. Partons are invited to observe art through a window from a safe and comfortable distance. Archives can only be accessed virtually.

Questi video sono influenzati dalla pandemia COVID-19 e creati durante la reclusione globale nel 2020. The Window Museum ha aperto il 6 novembre 2020 con i video dello scrittore e artista greco Demosthenes Agrafiotis. ABOUT

Window Museum è stato creato nel 2015 e aveva sede originariamente ad Harlem, New York City. Window Museum è uno spazio alternativo ed archivio, che occupa spazi commerciali vuoti, dove si trovano a transitare pubblico e passanti, invitati ad osservare l’arte attraverso una finestra, ad entrare ed accedere ad un archivio di arte multimediale, performance, mailart e giochi. Nel 2020, quando l’Organizzazione mondiale della sanità ha annunciato che il COVID-19 poteva degenerare in una pandemia , Window Museum si trasferì a Porto, Portogallo. In questi tempi incerti, Window Museum è progettato per preservare la nostra salute e sicurezza durante questo periodo di pandemia. I passanti lo sono invitati ad osservare l’arte attraverso una finestra da una distanza sicura e confortevole. È possibile accedere agli archivi solo virtualmente.
